i am completely alright with settling. sure, there are things i want.

but they're different from what i need.

the things i want stem from ideals; the shoes i will want you to fill, like when i was a kid someone gave me a pair of men's shoes and said, "listen, find someone who can fill these." hasn't worked out yet, but that's all you would be. the things i want i can do without.

what i need is for you to touch me. so tonight, i don't need to mention anything else.
